It was lights, camera, action as Blackpool Zoo swung open its doors to its new £1m orangutan house.
ICG's PR team co-ordinated the press launch of Orangutan Outlook as the Mayor of Blackpool, Valerie Haynes, and Marketing Lancashire's Chief Executive, Ruth Connor cut the ribbon to the brand new attraction.
The resident orangutans weren't afraid to play up to the cameras as press ranging from the Lancashire Telegraph to BBC Radio Lancashire, as well as film crews from Granada Reports and the Press Association, all gathered to get the first glimpse of the apes in their new state of the art home.
The results speak for themselves and ICG secured fantastic coverage in regional and national press, radio and TV.
