Junior PHP Developer

ICG is looking for a junior full-stack developer (database, back-end and front-end work).

You would be working alongside the wider digital team, who are responsible for the creation and implementation of a wide variety of web-based products using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and AJAX.

Essential Skills:

• Degree discipline – studying Computer Science or similar; extensive amount of coding experience; looking to achieve a 2:1 classification
• Good PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery knowledge
• Good front-end development skills for desktop, mobile and responsive websites
• Good back-end development skills in producing custom CMS
• Ability to work individually and collaboratively within the team and wider organisation; establish and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation; value cultural and ethnic diversity
• Maintaining existing codebase, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features
• A keen eye for detail, making sure things look amazing as well as functioning perfectly
• Good communication skills and ability to work within an agency environment

Desirable Skills:

• Wordpress knowledge
• Experience with frameworks such as Bootstrap.
