Yay, a big shout out for Give Back Fridays. They have returned for 2022 and our first partnership starts just down the road.
Earlier this year, we supported the Fylde Active Sports Awards which awarded its Lifetime Achievement to Gerry Gregoire, co-founder of Streetwise Youth Community in Warton.
After hearing of Gerry’s achievements, we thought it would be a great idea to make a donation to Streetwise as part of our Give Back Fridays.
Streetwise runs 16 different projects across the Fylde. It aims to provide positive activities which are affordable or at no cost to families while offering a safe haven for young people and families such as music lessons, self defence and cooking.
We were delighted to meet fellow co-founder, Lainey Gregoire at the youth centre in Butlers Meadow, Warton. It is an amazing facility geared up for children and young people of all ages.
Every Friday for the next three weeks, we will reveal more of our chosen charities.
