After seeing a call out on social media for web support, we stepped in to offer our services, and were pleased to develop a new website for Warton-based football club Lytham Town.
The grassroots football team is part of the West Lancashire League, and is run by volunteers. Following a recent bout of bad luck, from a flooding incident to fundraising events being halted owing to the pandemic, they needed immediate support to help them ‘get back on the pitch’.
ICG’s digital team developed a brand new website for the club, the site showcases the team’s fixtures, players, results and sponsors which can be fully-managed by the club’s volunteers.
ICG’s Head of Digital, Dave Mallalieu said “When we saw the call-out on social media we were only too happy to offer our support to create a new website and host the site for the club.
“With ICG based in the same village, it was the perfect opportunity for us to give back to the local community, it just so happens that we’re also extremely passionate about grassroots football too. We’re looking forward to visiting the team at their Bank Lane ground later this season.”
