Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal

What do a remote controlled helicopter, chocolate, wine and a dog bow tie all have in common?

They were all prizes donated by the team for ICG’s fund-raising raffle!

On Tuesday 21st February, everyone came together to raise money for the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal, which is providing urgent aid to the thousands of people affected by the recent devastating earthquakes.

The chocolate and wine was the first to go, followed by some beautiful potted plants, a BBQ sausage holder, handmade cushions and even a remote controlled helicopter!

There were also some delicious homemade bakes on sale, including sausage rolls, biscuits, flapjack, lemon drizzle cake and so much more. Plus some spicy pakoras from a local restaurant, which went down in a flash.

The last raffle prize to be drawn was an extra day of annual leave… which everyone waited on with bated breath.

Thanks to the whole team at ICG for donating, baking and organising! It was a great day in the barn and we’re proud to have raised a grand total of £400 for this worthy cause.
