We’re a donation station for Mission Christmas

ICG is supporting Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas to help make sure all children have something to open on Christmas Day.

As well as being a donation station for members of the public, the pressies have been piling up under our Christmas tree with donations from staff and from ICG.

As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, we’ve chosen four great local causes to support this year. Each week of December we are revealing one of our chosen charities.

Mission Christmas is a community initiative led by Rock FM and its Cash for Kids campaign is asking people to make gift and cash donations to support youngsters living in poverty. Last year, there were more than 17,500 gift recipients with numbers expected to rise in 2019.

It’s still not too late to get involved with Mission Christmas – the final day for donations is Tuesday December 17th.

ICG’s offices are open Monday to Friday 8.45am-5pm for drop-offs.

There are often shortages of gift donations for babies and teenagers.

Gifts for babies include toiletries, nappies, clothing and soft toys.

Gifts for teenagers include footballs, tennis balls, toiletries, vouchers for eateries, cinemas, coffee shops as well as football boots, earphones, watches, books, socks and clothing.
