Embracing a ‘can do’ attitude

Warrant Group is a freight forwarding and logistics company which has been an ICG client for more than 10 years.

Its core services of supply chain management, ocean, air and customs are underpinned by a real commitment to exceptional customer service and a drive to create and retain customer loyalty.

Operating in a fast-moving, global environment, the team at Warrant often has to work around the impact of world events.

ICG has always been aligned with Warrant’s can-do attitude to support its marketing and communications.

Bold, authentic new brand

Warrant was absolutely clear about what it wanted from a new brand. It needed to reflect the company’s mission to drive change in freight forwarding.

In an industry dominated by stock photography as well as the colour blue, the new brand had to be authentic.

We introduced a bright colour palette that contrasted well with black and white reportage style photography and we took inspiration from Warrant’s longstanding ‘can do’ company ethos to create ‘Warrant can’.

The rebrand coincided with the Warrant Group’s move to become an Employee Owned Trust.

“Team ICG are simply an extension of Warrant because they just naturally understand us.

I find it hard to describe in words how good this agency is and just how wonderful their entire team are.”

A website that pops

At its most basic level freight forwarding is all about movement, the movement of goods: ‘to move any product around the world’.

As part of the new brand, we created a suite of shapes that could be animated to create a strong visual narrative.

Thanks to a collaboration between our designers and developers, we produced eye-catching animations for each section of the website to give that sense of movement.

We used CSS code to ensure the visuals were impressive with fast load times.

Employee staff newsletter

With a bold and exciting brand style, it was great to be able to create a staff newsletter that really zings!

With an unmistakable name, boss news is an opportunity to share company updates, client highlights and staff achievements.

It put Warrant’s culture and ethos in the spotlight and is a great way to amplify its Warrant family message.

Stories so far have included staff sporting achievements, new appointments and fundraising activities.

Bringing the brand to life

It might be the digital age, but a printed desk calendar still goes down well.

And for a team that loves coffee, a mug is essential.

The new brand was also rolled out on data sheets, powerpoint templates, stationery and LinkedIn graphics.

We also provided copy writing support and PR pieces in Freight Business Journal and North West Insider.
