Creating strong community connections
ICG worked with Kier Living to promote new housing sites across the north of England.
Our teams acquired detailed knowledge of Kier Living’s developments, the company’s vision and a wider understanding of the housing building sector.
We developed strong community connections to help put Kier Living ‘front of mind’ among local people, helping assimilate new developments into existing communities.
Promoting new developments
ICG managed five show home openings in quick succession from spring through to autumn.
The events were located in Longridge, Lancashire; Harworth, Yorkshire; Easingwold, Yorkshire; Darwen in Lancashire and Daltons Way, West Lancashire.
We provided a wide range of event management including sourcing VIP guests, photography, filming, children’s activities, insurance/legal, refreshments and prize-draws.
We developed processes to manage all requirements while keeping a detailed spend tracker to monitor costs and resources, as well as benchmark suppliers.
A dedicated marketing partner
ICG helped Kier Living maximise all opportunities with the press and media to target local and regional audiences.
We organised radio partnerships and worked with local journalists to promote the show home openings and new sites breaking ground.
We managed the design and content requirements for advertorials in publications including Yorkshire Life, Ribble Valley Live and Lancashire Life.
We also produced content for Kier Living’s news pages and stakeholder websites, liaising with Kier Group in-house marketing teams to ensure content followed Kier Living’s house style.
Community sponsorship
ICG helped organise and project manage community sponsorship across the regions, liaising directly with charities and event organisers.
We managed Kier Living’s sponsorship of an arts event called Create Longridge which led to an exciting collaboration with an artist who appeared on the TV programme Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year.
We also sourced and organised the sponsorship of a junior football team, a new Parkrun, a beer festival, a children’s Lego competition, a local Christmas tree and Christmas decorations at the new housing estates.
